Colossians 2:15 NKJV – Victory through You, Jesus!

“Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.”

Through Jesus’ death on the cross for sinners, the enemy was robbed of his power to control people through the threat of death and eternal separation from God.  The enemy’s power is broken.  Glory to God!!!  The hostile powers of the enemy have lost their advantage forever.  There is Victory in Jesus!!!

Jesus gives us victory over temptation, over sin, over the enemy, over all powers.

“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”  (Hebrews 4:15 NKJV)

“And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin.” (1 John 3:5 NKJV)

“Now is the judgment of this world; not the ruler of this world will be cast out.”  (John 12:31 NKJV)

“And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.  Behold, I give you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”  (Luke 10:18-19 NKJV)

All the Victory belongs to Jesus.  In spiritual warfare, victory is assured since Jesus has already won it on the cross and through His resurrection.  We will eventually share in Jesus’ complete and total victory.  We should rejoice in the salvation brought about by Jesus’ faithful life and death, and by the power of His resurrection.  Even in the midst of adversity, we are victorious in the Name of Jesus!

Thank You Jesus for Your victory over sin and death by Your blood on the cross and Your precious resurrection.  Thank You that we can claim the same victory through Your Name, Jesus.  The enemy has no hold on us.  We are victorious in You, Jesus.  May You be glorified in our lives.  In Jesus Name. AMEN.

 Don’t believe me, believe God!
