Jeremiah 32:17 NKJV – Speak the truth – Believe the truth – Live the truth

‘Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.

God’s arms are open wider than any circumstance you’re facing. And God is able to meet your circumstance greater than what you can even ask or imagine. It wasn’t very long ago, maybe 3 or 4 years, that I was walking in a season with God that I found myself doubting just about everything. I was doubting my salvation. I was doubting God’s love for me. I was doubting whether or not God heard my prayers. I was doubting so much that I found myself bound up. I couldn’t function. I needed some revelation knowledge and some renewal. That is when I met my Life Coach. He was introduced to me by a good friend after we had spent some time talking about what I was feeling and facing. My Life Coach and I began a time of friendship and fellowship.

During my season of doubt, I continued to read God’s Word and to read the promises within it. But that knowledge was only going to my brain and not so much my heart. I was just reading words. But then my Life Coach taught me to verbalize the promises of God’s Word each and every day, in front of a mirror, and things began to change. The power of God’s Word was now being spoken and prophesied into my life each day. I began to believe the Word of God as it was intended. I began to believe the absolute truth of it.

Over these last few days, I began to think back of that time and realized that there were times recently that I forgot what God had taught me. I forgot to believe the truth of God’s Word. We all forget from time to time what we know to be the truth. We allow ourselves to get comfortable in our present situation and set God aside thinking we have everything covered until we realize we are not covering anything.   I needed God’s strength these past few days. I needed to get back into God’s Word and the truth about God’s strength.

Here is what I know to be true about God’s strength. God is all powerful. “But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.” (Mark 10:27 NKJV) God cannot be thwarted. “I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.” (Job 42:2 NKJV) And God shows His power through the proclamation of the good news about Jesus Christ. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes”. (Romans 1:16 NKJV) My faith lies in the power of God and the saving grace of Jesus Christ to cover all things, no matter what I am facing.

Friend, why do I share this with you? It’s not about my Life Coach. It’s about what God’s Word teaches us and how we internalize it. Do we make it head knowledge or do we make it heart knowledge? Remember the first two statements I made in this writing? God’s arms are open wider than any circumstance you’re facing. And God is able to meet your circumstance greater than what you can even ask or imagine. These statements are called Self-Talk. My Life Coach taught me to verbalize the promises of God in His Word. I’ll tell you it works. The more you speak the promises of God into your life and circumstances the more these truths and promises stay close to your heart. What better way to live out the truth of God’s Word but to speak them into your life and circumstance each and every day. Victory is just around the corner. Speak God’s truth and believe it. God inspired it with you and I in mind.   He knew we would need it. He desires for us to believe it.

Gracious God, thank You for the truth of Your Word. Thank You that You are above all things; above all circumstances and that Your desire is for us to believe.   Give us revelation knowledge of Your Word so that it resides in our hearts. Teach us to speak Your truth and to use Your Word to live out our lives. For Your glory and honor. In Jesus Name. AMEN.

Don’t believe me, believe God!
